Good Highland Food is owned by husband and wife team Mike and Yvonne Crook.

Mike & Yvonne

Mike and Yvonne boast decades of experience in event catering, event management and coordination.

Alongside our dedicated events management team, our talented chefs and front of house team, they are committed to bringing the best of Highland hospitality to your event.

Mike

Mike Crook is an experienced host who is first and foremost passionate about the Highlands & Islands and the great local produce available in this beautiful Scottish region. This passion runs right through the entire Good Highland Team and is central to everything we do. Mike boasts over three decades of experience in the hospitality industry and he started out in one of the Highland Capital’s best hotels when he was just 15 years old! A lover of great food and fine wines, Mike is regularly found tasting new wines and discussing food and wine matching with the team at l’ Art du Vin, Berry Brothers & Rudd and, on his latest trip to London, Fortnum & Mason

Yvonne

Yvonne manages the marketing and events team behind the Good Highland brand.   With a long and varied career in the Highland Hospitality and Events Industry, there are few people, venues or professionals in the industry she has not worked with! As director of the Highland Food & Drink Festival for nearly 10 years, Yvonne’s commitment to the Highlands, its food & drink and wider hospitality industry is well known and is only equaled by her passion for creating Great Highland experiences!

Pawel

Pawel

Pawel, our Head Chef at Good Highland Food, works closely with Maestro Mike to bring each menu to life. He’s a passionate, creative chef with real pride in every detail he puts on the plate — from a perfectly balanced sauce to a fresh new twist on flavour combinations. A true foodie at heart, Pawel brings energy, curiosity, and a brilliant dynamic to the team. And just as importantly, he’s never short of a story or a laugh, making the kitchen as warm and memorable as the food we serve.

Myles

Myles plays a key role within the Good Highland Food team and is very much part of the wider Good Highland Food family. With a strong background in hospitality, he has worked across high-end luxury hotels and prestigious venues, building extensive experience in food and drink service, bar operations and front-of-house hospitality. Friendly, attentive and a natural with guests,  Myles brings a calm confidence to every event, ensuring guests feel both relaxed and well looked after. As Mike and Yvonne’s soon-to-be son-in-law, his connection to Good Highland Food goes beyond the professional, sharing the same passion for exceptional service, outstanding produce and creating memorable Highland experiences.
