Year of Food and Drink Scotland

VisitScotland has launched its Year of Food and Drink Scotland 2015 initiative and at Good Highland Food, we’re excited about showing off the finest produce from our part of the country!

For the past ten years, we’ve championed food and drink that is locally grown and produced. In Scotland we’re very fortunate to have the perfect environment for creating and cultivating the finest seafood, meats, dairy, fruit and veg and beverages and it’s no accident that produce such as whisky, shortbread and black pudding is known, used and loved worldwide. Obviously, we’re a wee bit biased, but we think Scotland’s food and drink is among the best – in fact THE best – in the world!

At Good Highland Food, we want to play our part in holding up our nation’s impeccable reputation by continuing to use the best local produce and with this in mind we’ve created some delicious new menus for 2015. We’ll also be giving you our recommendations for Good Highland Food Experiences in other areas and revealing our “try something different” menu for the more adventurous foodies – so keep an eye out on our website for these.

Whether you’re organising a high society wedding, or an informal gathering of family or friends – or even an event in the great outdoor playground we have here in the Highlands – you’ll find something in our menus to tempt you.

If you don’t find what you’re looking for and have your own ideas, just ask – we’re happy to do most things – as long as we can give you a taste of the Highlands with the best Highland hospitality!
