As a family business firmly rooted in the Community in the Highlands.  We recognise the importance of operating our business in an environmentally sustainable way and continuing our commitment to developing the local and wider community in the Highlands both economically, socially and culturally.

 

The following are examples of our sustainable business practices;

 

  • Paperless event planning and administration
  • Planning menus around seasonal and sustainable locally sourced ingredients
  • Promoting menus with more sustainable food options e.g Vegetarian and Vegan
  • Actively working with local Highland and Scottish suppliers reducing food miles and supporting Scottish producers
  • Minimising food waste and aiming to recycle a minimum of 80% of all food waste
  • Working with suppliers with similar values and commitment to supporting the green movement
  • Working with sustainable energy suppliers
  • Supporting community food initiatives throughout the Covid Pandemic
  • Supporting charitable activities such as Cancer and Mental Health Charities in the Community
