Global Hospitality Award for Best Event Catering Company in the Scottish Highlands

Husband and wife team Mike and Yvonne Crook of Good Highland Food are awarded a Global Hospitality Award for Best Event Catering Company in the Scottish Highlands.

Thursday 26th September 2019. Moy, Inverness-shire. Moy-based gourmet outside caterer, Good Highland Food, was awarded Best Event Catering Company in the Scottish Highlands by Lux Events Global Hospitality Awards last week. Mike and Yvonne Crook have been running Good Highland Food for 14 years and have seen its customer base go from strength to strength over the past five years in the wedding, corporate, VIP and film location markets locally and throughout Scotland.

Mrs Crook said: “We have served royals and celebrities, transformed bothys into banquet-worthy venues, created BBQ’s on beaches for international journalists and most recently provided on-set catering for a world-renowned film franchise.

“Whilst those may be among the more glamorous of our foodie commissions, what we are probably known for locally is our second-to-none wedding and corporate catering which forms a very important part of our business. Our delicious food created with locally-sourced produce speaks for itself and client feedback tells us that our attention to detail, event-management, passion and warm hospitality is what really sets us apart.”

Throughout October, Good Highland Food will cater the Moray Chamber of Commerce annual dinner for 330 business representatives as well as providing wedding and event catering in a number of Castles, whisky distilleries and film locations in the Highlands.

Mrs Crook added: “Both myself and my husband are passionate about offering Food Experiences in the Highlands. We have a great team and dedicate this award to them for their loyalty and dedication to us. We are looking forward to the next chapter for Good Highland Food.”
